Tai Chi is often described as meditation in motion and it is an effective exercise for the health of the mind and body.  There is growing evidence to suggest that this mind-body practice has value in treating and preventing many health problems.  The benefits of Tai Chi include decreased stress and anxiety; improved mood; and improved flexibility , strength, balance, and agility.    Almost anyone can benefit from learning Tai Chi.  Here at the Carlisle Place we can instruct individuals in a short form program as part of the rehabilitation process to help people achieve their goals.
